It describes the process of applying for and taking the Medication Aide Certification Examination (MACE®). It is important that you read the entire handbook and keep a copy of it until you are notified of your examination results. The purpose of the Medication Aide Certification examination is to ensure that individuals who administer medication have the basic knowledge and skills to perform their duties.

The Utah Division of Professional Licensing has contracted with Credentia, a nationally recognized leading provider of assessment services to regulatory agencies, to administer the examination.
