Eligibility Criteria

All candidates applying to take the Medication Aide Certification Examination in Utah MUST complete an Application for Registration by Competency Examination form in the Credentia Platform. 

When registering to test, select the Eligibility Route that best applies to you:

M1 - Utah State Approved Medication Aide Trained Candidate

For candidates who have successfully completed an approved UT Medication Aide Training Program (MATP) requiring a minimum of (100) hours of training. This consists of sixty (60) hours of didactic classroom training, in addition to forty (40) hours of practical training in a healthcare facility supervised by an active LPN, RN, or APRN. Registration and Scheduling
